Bridgitte Mott is an associate in the Litigation Department in DMOC’s Stamford, Connecticut office. 

Bridgitte represents individuals and entities in complex commercial, land use, estate and probate, employment, legal malpractice and personal injury litigation in Connecticut and New York courts, as well as in arbitration tribunals.  Her practice also includes transactional and general corporate matters.  Prior to joining DMOC, Bridgitte worked for the Connecticut Judicial Branch, Office of Legal Research, where she served as a research clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court.

Bridgitte earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and graduated therefrom with a Certificate in Energy and Environmental Law.  While in law school, she served as the competition editor of the Connecticut Law Review and interned at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York for the Honorable Thomas J. McAvoy, the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.  Bridgitte received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester in 2009.

Bridgitte is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk.

Day v. Seblatnigg, Superior Court, Judicial District of Stamford, Docket No. FST-CV-14-6021170-S, 2015 WL 9871322 (Dec. 18, 2015, corrected Dec. 23, 2015, Heller, J.) (obtained summary judgment voiding an illegally funded Delaware Irrevocable Trust and obtained judgment for the return of over $6 million of assets to conserved person’s estate).

Henry v. Imbruce, Superior Court, Complex Litigation Docket at Stamford, Docket Nos. (X08) FST-CV-12-5013927-S, (X08) FST-CV12-6014987S, 2016 (April 11, 2016, Genuario, J.) (obtained confirmation of an arbitration decision, which awarded $7.8 million to private equity fund investors).

Dubinsky v. Black, Superior Court, Judicial District of Fairfield at Bridgeport, Docket No. FBT-CV-14-6044881-S, 2017 WL 1194257 (February 21, 2017, Krumeich, J.) (obtained summary judgment in a legal malpractice matter involving attorney’s representation of plaintiff in an underlying criminal proceeding).
