Scott S. Centrella
Scott S. Centrella is a partner in the Litigation Department.
Mr. Centrella's practice is in the area of employment law and litigation where he counsels both businesses and individuals in matters including, hiring, negotiation of employment contracts, severance agreements, termination and reductions-in-force, drafting of employee manuals and non-compete, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements and litigating the myriad claims that arise in the law of the workplace before state and federal administrative agencies and courts.
Mr. Centrella is a frequent lecturer on employment law issues and provides state-mandated sexual harassment training to businesses. Mr. Centrella also litigates a broad array of commercial cases and handles personal injury and family law matters. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Employment Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and a member of its federal Practice Section as well. He is also a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the American Inns of Court, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Mr. Centrella also serves as a Special Master for the State Superior Court.
Mr. Centrella is a member of the Board of Selectmen in his hometown of Easton, a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and a member of the Board of Trustees Advisory Council at Fairfield University.
